About

Alison has been in touch with ScreenHI for a while now, from bringing media students to our annual creative industry festival, goNORTH to recording podcast material at Loopallu She attended The Network at the 2012 Media Guardian Edinburgh International TV and Film Festival as a ScreenHI sponsored delegate - a scheme ScreenHI has supported since 2009.

Alison is a creative and driven individual who likes nothing better than rolling her sleeves up and getting down to work. Her passions lie in camera, lighting and sound in film, but she enjoys all ends of the production process. She has knowledge of various graphics and film packages and equipment as well as darkroom photography from studying Media Arts at Melbourne University. Six years teaching English and Media to Western Isles teenagers has honed her organisational and people skills and her ability to work under pressure Her aim now is to develop her skills in all areas of Media – from pre to post production – and she seeks experience particularly in production assistant and runner roles.

We have provided this area of our website for companies and freelance practitioners that ScreenHI has worked with in the Screen and Broadcast industry based in the Highlands and Islands to showcase, network and profile their work and craft.
